Before construction of this new home could begin, the existing home was carefully deconstructed. It was cut into large sections, labeled, and then removed from the site to be recycled and reconstructed in a new location. This process saved massive amounts of material going to the landfill and allowed for the existing foundation to be a clean slate to build the new home.
