RATTLESNAKE SUNROOM

The clients for this project were looking for a better use for their covered porch and desired a peaceful, well lit space to function as an art studio and reading room. To help manage the budget and reduce material waste, the existing deck structure was retrofitted, insulated, and non-load bearing walls were constructed between the existing porch roof structure. Large windows were placed on all three sides of the room to allow the light and expansive views of the Rattlesnake Wilderness to flood the new conditioned space.
